This is my three year old japanese pits-labrador dog. It was given to me by my mom and dad.

walk without shoes so kids don't have to.
Walk without shoes so kids don’t have to
I remember the very first time I rest eyes on a toms shoe. It was a few years back, I thought it was the most basic and brilliant design but the brilliance behind toms was not just the shoes itself but their way of giving back to the needy. Maybe this is the secret behind the success of the brand, one for one. One shoes bought equals to another pair for the deprived.
I attended “Walk without shoes” along with hundreds of toms supporters at the Trinoma open parks Tuesday, to experience having to live without shoes and to raise awareness of the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life.
It is a very moving experience to watch how toms give shoes to the kids around the world, especially for me who's a big shoe addict. I can't believe i own 56 pairs and there are kids who doesn't have one.
Toms could be really expensive, i mean really expensive. But its for a greater cause of touching the lives of kids in need. Maybe many of you are asking if this are true. I, also doubted at first. It wasn't really believable that toms are giving away their shoes for free. Maybe there are still kind and genuine hearts out there, and this is true.
I for one, own a pair of toms. It's all worth it knowing that you just bought something you like and alongside, you help.
We walked around without shoes around trinoma park yesterday, walked on sand, stones, soil and pebbles. This is not just to show us how it feels like without shoes, but to raise awareness of how we could impact or change a life.
