artists struggle twice than intellectuals.

It's fictional
There had been some buzz going around the blog-o-sphere for quite a while now, and somehow if you are a blogger you could feel powerless or powerful.

For artists, we pretend that this is our platform for our medium. Whether a visual artist, a writer or even a photographer. Yes we have all seen tons of different works, but all of this are merely fictional. It's composed and saved, it doesn't necessarily mean that its true. So why do we believe everything that we see?

Artists have powers
It may not be like the ones that super heroes have. We don't have the ability to fly or to read your mind. We just know where to hit you for your minds to travel, for you to cry and laugh. It is not actually believing but being humane enough to understand.

In one click you gain access to the world (or spam or a virus). But everything in there are not real, even history might be fictional in that sense. Not that i question history but because the arts are passed on ever since earth had flourished, how do we preserve it.

Since I was young, I am on the field of arts. I have hopped into one to the other. Painting, writing, photography, fashion design and whichever I wanted. That's another power we have, we can venture into one thing to the other with the assurance that we can go back to the previous thing we love.

Be careful with your powers
We are granted the power to tell, show and even brag to the world. But we should be careful with this ability, because its like fire in the middle of a forest. It's hard or it's not possible to stop the spread of it. Like powers of super heroes, we must know how to put em into good use. Thats the only thing i want to get across.

oh look.

This is my three year old japanese pits-labrador dog. It was given to me by my mom and dad.
His name is kean, he likes barking at everyone. Also, he loves to scare the kids and the delivery people. haha:D thats my boy.

Okay, so his name is KEAN. like the callalily vocalist. supposedly its keane (kin) like the band.
But it's all so confusing, even the papers and the vet records has different versions of his name.

Because of him, we know when there are people outside our house, when there is fire and when there is deliveries. haha!

walk without shoes so kids don't have to.

Walk without shoes so kids don’t have to

I remember the very first time I rest eyes on a toms shoe. It was a few years back, I thought it was the most basic and brilliant design but the brilliance behind toms was not just the shoes itself but their way of giving back to the needy. Maybe this is the secret behind the success of the brand, one for one. One shoes bought equals to another pair for the deprived.

Blake Mycoskie, an American traveler and entrepreneur saw children without shoes in Argentina. Then he started a revolutionary business premise: with every pair purchased, another pair will be given to a child in need. I didn’t believe the objective at first, but I saw the documentary of how they give out thousands of shoes to these kids. They already gave more than a million pairs around the world and still counting .It’s an advocacy and we joined toms Philippines for a greater movement of walking around without shoes.

I attended “Walk without shoes” along with hundreds of toms supporters at the Trinoma open parks Tuesday, to experience having to live without shoes and to raise awareness of the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life.

It is a very moving experience to watch how toms give shoes to the kids around the world, especially for me who's a big shoe addict. I can't believe i own 56 pairs and there are kids who doesn't have one.

Toms could be really expensive, i mean really expensive. But its for a greater cause of touching the lives of kids in need. Maybe many of you are asking if this are true. I, also doubted at first. It wasn't really believable that toms are giving away their shoes for free. Maybe there are still kind and genuine hearts out there, and this is true.

I for one, own a pair of toms. It's all worth it knowing that you just bought something you like and alongside, you help.

We walked around without shoes around trinoma park yesterday, walked on sand, stones, soil and pebbles. This is not just to show us how it feels like without shoes, but to raise awareness of how we could impact or change a life.
