Feels like a homecoming

so some of you might saw my twitter overload for PETA (Philippine Educational Theater Association).

Coz yes, after a long time, i'm coming back.

Here's the scoop, I got tickets from Jellybean, they are co-presenting the CAREDIVAS play.

Caredivas is a musical dramedy produced by Divine Lee (i suppose, the queen of the beckys).

Creole asked us to have a photo taken on the wall, I wasn't prepared for this. seriously.

I didn't have my camera that day so I had to settle with my Samsung and HTC phone, most picture taking are for the before show coz ethics-wise, cameras are not really allowed on theaters, video or stills. Thats the beauty of it, you can only recall em in your mind. The beauty and the music.

And I was not disappointed with PETA, great story, production and music.

They never fail to make a good show.:)

The story was about Gay OFWs working as caregivers by day and drag queens by night. They are in Israel in the midst of war and bombings, you know the drill. Twisted love story, friendship, tragedy and other ropes. It's funny as hell too! They will set your heart on fire.:)

Hello, y'all. dear readers and fellow bloggers, please do attend Blogfest 2.0.

Responsible blogging, that's what I want to see on the blog-o-sphere. Blogging and Blogs had been such a strong media. In line with this, we bloggers and writers had to use our medium responsibly and right.

Like eating, sleeping and working, facebook-ing and tweet-ing had been a part of our everyday routine, admit it or not. We always stop and update our status', use the instagram to tweet photos and all other apps we can use on our social network. And oh, as an evidence of us being socially active, there was a movie called social network. Like a Mother Theresa movie, people payed to watch and thanked God for this heaven sent social networks.

A Crazy Lil Thing Co'llab Group Show : Bigboy Cheng, Christian Tamondong, Noel Cruz, Bjorn Calleja, Nemo Aguila, Jason Montinola, Erik Sausa, Dave Lock, Bru Sim, MArcushiro, Allan Balisi, Tatong Torres, Cos Zicarelli, Epjey Pacheco Egg ,Fiasco, Jigger Cruz and Beejay Esber and JP Cuison

Collaborations can be seen as transactional negotiations that purports to fairgame without winners or losers but individual dominance eliminated for the pursuit of a unified collective goal. Hence, collaborations can be seen as experiments in social relationships and as an exercise in group dynamics. In art, collaborations have endured as platforms of creative play and or as an open even-handed sport of one-upmanship. The result of which is a picture that integrates the stylistic DNA of all its creators into a hybrid entity that knows no master, free to be its own creature within its plastic domain of viscous paint, gesso, varnish and all the wherewithals of the blood and guts of its consensual wielders and breeders; or the consequence of a win-win solution – agreeing to disagree for a picture whose problem is to complete itself in the mix of conspiratorial hands.

A Crazy Lil Thing Co’llab is one such exhibit which gathers conspirators Bigboy Cheng, Christian Tamondong, Noel Cruz, Bjorn Calleja, Nemo Aguila, Jason Montinola, Erik Sausa, Dave Lock, Bru Sim, MArcushiro, Allan Balisi, Tatong Torres, Cos Zicarelli, Epjey Pacheco Egg ,Fiasco, Jigger Cruz and Beejay Esber and JP Cuison. The process by which conspirators nee collaborators were paired were drawn by lots, the outcome of which would surely be a surprise as they’re forced out of their stylistic comfort zones as figurative painters were paired with abstract painters, with some collaborators meeting for the first time. This show also acts as a laboratory for all such experimentation, or a reanimation of the Surrealist parlor game the exquisite corpse as how Balisi, Torres and Zicarelli executed their collaboration.

A Crazy Lil Thing Co’llab will have its opening preview on July 31 6PM at Secret Fresh Gallery.

The exhibit will run until August 23, 2011 Secret Fresh is at G/F Ronac Art Center, Ortigas Avenue, Greenhills, San Juan MM

Secret Fresh is open from Mondays to Saturdays 2-10 PM and Sundays from 1 - 6PM.

Its Harry Potter season again, I was about to say once again but this is the last to hit the big screens. But we don't really have to fret because JK Rowling is serving up Pottermore.

"Pottermore is a free website that builds an exciting online experience around the reading of the Harry Potter books."

It doesn't really end, because I grew up with Harry, Hermione and Ron. As long as I have childhood in my heart, it will remain there forever.

Just like what JK Rowling said, it's not an ending, it's only a beginning of bigger things for the wizarding and the muggle world.

I was very much excited to watch Harry once again, and luckily Western Digital invited me to join them on a special screening of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows part2. sorry but this is probably the most confused thing I ever wrote, and to tell you the truth, this is going nowhere.

It was only twice that I heard of my mom and dads love story, and I never really did ask about it. I was happy with what we all have. I have a mom, a dad and a brother, It was a simple story.

My parents' story isn't really telenovela-like, but it was a cute story.

Like any Mcdonalds commercial, theirs involved being there and being in love right there and then. I wanted to say that it was happily ever after, but then, it wasn't the most perfect story.

20 years after, here we are.

Torn, confused, mad.

I always get jealous of my mom and dad, my mom was always dads favorite, it was sweet. I can see him move mountains for mom, I grew up seeing my dad give the world to my mom. She was a spoiled brat, and she grew that way in our family. Maybe she got used to all the attention and all the gifts dad showers her, but it wasn't until we all realize that mom is taking advantage of dads love for her. She made too many mistakes which I don't even want to elaborate. She left us too many times, that I can't even count how many times she came back around as if nothing happened.

Dad, he's the only man I can say who had been brave enough to be here with us, I cannot express how happy I am to be with my dad right now. He grew stronger than of before, now he seems more calm and expressive. Despite morning fights on what i'm wearing and what time i'll be going home, he is still one of the reasons why I want to go home. Seeing my dad and being able to talk about anything, especially politics and sports.

I am not mad at my mom, I can be but I chose not to. She's still my mom, I know she fucked up her life and I want to help her rebuild what was once hers. Her career, her life. But now, as she walked away once more, I am left with no choice, but to give up on her.

I know this is all so confusing, but three years ago I had the same sentiment and I thought I escaped from it, I didn't really. It's here, once again.

One for One

Many of you should know that I have been a big fan of Toms shoes ever since.

If I will substitute my killer heels with comfy shoes, it'll definitely be my toms.:)

So my two closest friends have red toms shoes, so do I. oh yes, we all three are toms lovers.

And I will take a picture of us three wearing our Toms, maybe on saturday on our date.:)
